Emerging Stronger After the Storm

In December 2021, instead of happily planning for the holidays, joy has turned to sorrow as Typhoon Odette devastated numerous provinces in the Philippines leaving behind a trail of destroyed homes and damaged agriculture severely affecting people’s lives and livelihoods.
We once again knocked on the goodness of our Trends Group Foundation, Inc. family’s hearts. And thanks to the generosity of our donors, we garnered over P500,000 in cash donations to help with the home repairs of the 34 TGI employees based in Visayas and Mindanao whose homes suffered damage during the harrowing ordeal. We hope to help our colleagues move forward from the devastation and continue to be a beacon of support for others.
Other Activities & Programs
The Taal Volcano eruption last January 2020 displaced several families and communities from their homes. While there is no exact science to predict the exact occurrence of natural disasters like this, there is a sense of comfort knowing that damages can be mitigated through the swift responses of concerned citizens and organizations.
Trends Group Foundation, Inc. understands that protecting the environment is necessary to create a sustainable future. As our landscape continues to adapt to climate change, we too need to adapt and push for advocacies and programs that call for the preservation of our natural resources.
